Understand Forms
About
The Forms module is the entry point for collecting booking information from customers. Structured forms capture accurate data upfront, reducing errors and rework, and enabling efficient operations and reliable service delivery.
Creating a form
Follow these steps to configure your form:
- Select Form from the main menu on the left side of your portal.
- Click the Create a Form button.
- Customize the form’s look to match your company branding.
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a title for your form (e.g., "Booking Form").
- Paste a link to your Terms and Conditions in the designated field (optional).
- Paste a link to your Terms of Purchase in the designated field (optional).
- Enter a custom label for the text box where customers can describe their issues. Toggle the switch to enable or disable this section.
- Toggle the switch to enable "Activate Coverage Check". Customers outside these zones will be unable to complete a booking. Choose from:
- Address: Validates the specific address provided by the customer.
- Zip Code: Verifies if the customer's postal code is within your service area.
- Note: Configure your service area boundaries in the Coverage Map.
- Insert footer text. Use it to provide support contact information, links to your Terms and Conditions, or your social media profiles.
- Insert custom text into the Summary widget. Use it to provide payment details, expected delivery times, or other important final notes.
- Select a Partner from the dropdown menu.
- Note: If no partner applies, leave this field empty. You can add new partners via the "Partners" tab.
- Select the services and categories to include in your form.
- Toggle the switch to enable "Availability". In the "Service Lead Time" field, enter the number of hours in advance that bookings must be scheduled.
- Select the payment option you wish to activate for your checkout. If you choose Stripe, provide your credentials:
- Enter your Stripe Secret key in the first field.
- Enter your Stripe Publishable key in the second field.
- Cick Preview to view your form before it goes live. Once you are satisfied with the settings, click 'Save & Generate Code.' Copy the generated code from the text box and paste it into your website to display the booking form.
